ATLiens Showed Up
When you’re a native Atlantan, you learn how to deal with a lot: back-to-back traffic, sports teams that can never seem to clench the title, and of course, #Snowmageddon.
So, as we prepared for Super Bowl LIII, we were a little worried. We had 1.3 million people coming in and expecting the best.
Well, 24 hours after the Big Game, I’m proud to say we showed up in a Big Way and the Babbit Bodner team was on the scene throughout the action.
We gave back: There was plenty of partying for partying sake, but Big Game Big Give showed that Atlanta brings philanthropy into everything we do. We were excited to work with The Giving Back Fund on their annual event, which is one of the most prestigious Super Bowl Saturday events. This year, it featured entertainment legends like Jamie Foxx and Ludacris, Black Eyed Peas and CeeLo.
We fought back:Our client United Way of Greater Atlanta was the only non-profit on the Hyundai Super Bowl Experience floor. Their innovative experience, created in partnership with the NFL and ATL-based Futurus, brought the challenges of bullying to life in Call the Play, an interactive virtual reality program available for FREE in all Atlanta schools.
We threw it back:One of our favorite hometown heroes, Big Boi, saved the Big Game Super Bowl Show. Our very own Kristin Wooten was at the game to see it live. While we wish he had more stage time, we were proud of our hometown representation.
