Instagram launches new captions sticker feature for stories: After testing the feature for a few months, Instagram officially launched their newest update, captions in the form of stickers for stories. The new feature allows users to auto-generate text captions based on the audio in the story, and users will be able to edit and change the words. This is another way that Instagram is increasing accessibility for their app and adapting to changing social media trends.


Washington football team hires first chief creative officer within NFL: Will Misselbrook will now handle all creative storytelling, digital sales and content monetization. Misselbrook joins the team after a massive rebranding process, including the selection of a new team identity and name. Washington has dropped the controversial Redskins name and has been chronicling their rebranding process on their website. Misselbrook will dive into the process with a dynamic approach.

Mattel wants you to send back your toys when you're done with them: 76-year-old toy company Mattel is launching a new program called "Mattel PlayBack." The program is designed to recover and reuse parts of recycled toys for use in future Mattel products. Those who want to donate their old toys can visit Mattel's website to receive a free shipping label to ship their toys back to the company. Materials that cannot be recycled will be downcycled or converted from waste to energy.
